Bring on the HEAT!

Life would be bland without colors.
Food would be bland without spices.
Every pop of color is a drop of life.
So is every flavour, a taste of the world.

Sugar, spice and everything nice.
Let the fresh flavours linger in your mouth.
Let the calorific temptations for sweet beginnings and bitter endings,
Start and end at this special 'Fresh Flavours with Anna Olson' Media Lunch.

Event made possible by AFC & Edsa Shangri-la
A lot of culinary expertise has been prepared for this gastronomic feast!
But first, let us get to know the renowned pastry chef behind these masterpieces.

Chef Anna Olson

Chef Anna freely shares her recipes in print and on her shows. She currently hosts 'Bake with Anna Olson' and previously hosts 'Fresh with Anna Olson', 'Kitchen Equipped' and 'Sugar'. In just 6 minutes or less, she can satisfy your tummy like no other and make you literally crave for that dish she just introduced.

Trivia:
1. In Canada, they also call it Lechon or Suckling pig. They usually serve this at weddings!
2. Chef Anna left banking for culinary arts. She loves the adrenaline rush in trading and baking alike! This adrenaline rush, she coined as RENEWABLE RESOURCE.
3. Chef Anna loves Calamansi. She feels bad because in Canada, she only gets to use Calamansi Concentrate, and not the real thing. Thus, she says, her recipe is only perfected in the Philippines!
4. The one spice/flavour she can't live without is GARLIC. (Thanks for answering my question!)

My twin and I were the only NON-MEDIA guests invited to this Media Lunch with Chef Anna! So for this, I have to thank Edsa Shangri-la for this special and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
