Go Knots & Circles!

Let's bring out the bright reds & neons girls and boys!
Go for circles, knots & coins to bring good fortune and luck this 2013.
No blacks and whites unless you'd want to start your year mourning.
Yes, it's that time of the year again to celebrate...

THE CHINESE NEW YEAR!

So here is my outfit for today's celebration:
Tube | K-Marc
Pants | Muffin Clothing
Shades | Fly

Bangles | From Thailand
Woven Necklace | World Trade Center Bazaar
Wedges | Suys from Korea

This is actually MY YEAR since I am born in the year of the SNAKE! :)
I love to go SSSSSSsssssssssssss.
And of course, no Chinese New Year would be complete without...

MY RED ENVELOPE ('Ang Pow' or 'Hóngbāo')
&
A FESTIVE CELEBRATION AT GOLDEN BAY RESTAURANT!

Here's a list of the foods that are believed to bring something good in your life:

meat dumplings for good luck
tangerines for good fortune
apples for peace
sweet rice cakes for more wealth every year
fish for plenty
veggies with long noodles for long life
chicken for wealth
soup means everything better than last year
oranges for money and wealth
shrimp for abundance
Yes, there's a lot of Chinese Superstitions.
Some are just laughable & insane, but some do interestingly make sense.
So what have we got to lose by just following these?
Nothing. That's the point!

Who knows... luck might just be waiting for you to catch it.
